Kintsugi is the Japanese art of putting broken pottery pieces back together with gold. This is built on the idea that by embracing flaws and imperfections, you can create an even stronger, more beautiful piece of art. Every break is unique; instead of repairing an item to look like new, this 400-year-old technique highlights the "scars" as part of the design. Using this as a metaphor for healing ourselves teaches us an important lesson: sometimes, in the process of repairing broken things, we actually create something more unique, beautiful, resilient, and strong.

By choosing this subject, I decided to tell the stories of a multitude of women. Women who once were girls and transformed into strong, unique versions of themselves through painful life experiences. I am telling the story of women who stood up stronger after being broken into pieces in their past (lack of education, violence in relationships, poverty, sexual and mental abuse, slavery...).

I am honoring those women who, despite their social and physical conditions, reversed their destiny and transformed their weaknesses into strengths.

The cover of the book represents an oppressed woman, while the moodboard represents the same woman who found the courage to recreate herself into a person who won't let anything stop her.

The combination of "Modern and Traditional" and "Simple and Sophisticated" is present throughout the collection to emphasize the "Before and After" transformation in each design.

I would like to thank the two women of my life, My mother HABIBA and my sister MOUNA, for their unconditional support throughout my life.

These two women inspired this last collection with their love, determination, and discipline.

I would like to thank my teacher NATIA for her patience and her passion that has nourished me all along this difficult year with the pandemic that kept us all away from our loved ones.

I would like to thank my director SONAT, for her help, support, and understanding.

Thank you to all of you for pushing me toward my dreams. Thank you for making me one of the fashion designers of tomorrow.
